معترضان بحرینی خواستار آزادی عبدالهادی الخواجه‌اند

وضعیت عبدالهادی خواجه، فعال سیاسی و مدافع حقوق بشر بحرینی زندانی، در پی اعتصاب غذایی که از ژانویه آغاز کرده وخیم گزارش شده است.

او به اتهام توطئه علیه کشور به حبس ابد محکوم شده است، اما فعالان حقوق بشر می‌گویند دادگاه او "شدیدا ناعادلانه" بوده است.

خانواده او در روز ۲۰ آوریل - چند روز مانده به برگزاری مسابقات فرمول یک در بحرین - گفتند که از خوردن آب هم امتناع می‌کند. دو روز پیش از آن نیز گفته شده بود که او سرم‌هایی را که زنده نگهش می‌داشتند کشیده است.

'یورش شبانه'

پس از آنکه دموکراسی‌خواهان بحرینی در فوریه ۲۰۱۱ میدان لولو در منامه، پایتخت، را به تسخیر خود در آوردند این کشور دستخوش ناآرامی شد.

دست کم ۶۰ نفر، از جمله پنج افسر پلیس، کشته و صدها تن بازداشت شدند و هزاران نفر هم به زندان افتادند.

پس از این که شیخ حمد بن عیسی آل خلیفه، پادشاه بحرین با اعلام وضعیت فوق‌العاده در مارس ۲۰۱۱ از نیروهای کشورهای همسایه برای سرکوب مخالفان یاری گرفت، نیروهای امنیتی به زور معترضان را از میدان لولو بیرون کردند.

آقای خواجه می‌گوید مورد شکنجه و آزار جنسی قرار گرفته است

عبدالهادی خواجه پیش از بازداشتش در آوریل ۲۰۱۱، به بی‌بی‌سی گفته بود که عامدانه در نقطه‌ای دور از میدان لولو مانده بود. او گفته بود: "نمی‌خواستم به ماموران بهانه‌ای برای بازداشت خودم بدهم".

با این حال او را در یورشی شبانه به خانه دخترش بازداشت کردند.

به گفته خانواده‌اش پلیس او را مورد ضرب و شتم قرار داد و به وی اجازه داده نشد تا داروهای ضروری را همراه خود ببرد. همچنین او برای هفته‌ها از ملاقات خانواده خود محروم بود.

'شکنجه'

آقای خواجه در شهادتی که برای کمیسیون تحقیقات مستقل بحرین -هیئتی متشکل از کارشناسان حقوق بشر که پادشاه مامور رسیدگی به برخورد با ناآرامی‌ها کرده بود- داد، ابراز کرد که در طول بازداشت تحت شکنجه‌هایی طولانی بوده است.

او گفت که در پی حمله مردان نقاب‌دار پلیس به خانه دخترش، فکش از چهار جا شکسته بود.

او را به یک بیمارستان نظامی ارتش منتقل کردند و هفت روز با چشمان بسته دستانش را به تختش دستبند زدند. او به کمیسیون تحقیقات گفت که در زمانی که در بیمارستان بود، خود و خانواده‌اش با اذیت و آزار جنسی مورد ارعاب قرار گرفتند.

به گفته آقای خواجه او دو ماه بدون حق دسترسی به وکیل در سلول انفرادی نگهداری شد و در این مورد مداوما تحت آزار جنسی و ضرب و شتم نگهبانان قرار می‌گرفت.

آقای خواجه و ۲۰ تن دیگر از مخالفان در دادگاهی نظامی بابت "تشکیل گروه تروریستی برای براندازی نظام سلطنت مشروطه" محاکمه شدند و هفت تن از آنان، از جمله عبدالهادی خواجه، حبس ابد گرفتند.

به گفته عفو بین‌الملل این محکومیت بدون هیچ سند و مدرکی و تنها بر مبنای اقاریر تحت فشار صادر شده بود. اما فرجام‌خواهی زندانیان مورد موافقت دادگاه قرار نگرفت.

اعتصاب غذا

آقای خواجه به همراه ۱۳ تن دیگر از ۲۹ ژانویه ۲۰۱۲ اعتصاب غذایی را در اعتراض به محکومیت خود آغاز کرد.

بنا بر این بود که این اعتصاب غذا یک هفته به طول بینجامد، اما آقای خواجه تصمیم گرفت برای اعمال فشار بر حکومت بحرین به اعتصاب غذای خود ادامه دهد.

در پایان مارس به خانواده و وکیل خود گفت قندی را که به همراه آب برای زنده ماندن می‌خورده است کاهش می‌دهد.

وضعیت او به سرعت رو به وخامت گذاشت و وزنش از ۶۷ کیلوی پیش از زندان، به ۵۱ کیلو افت کرد.

دانمارک به واسطه این که آقای خواجه تابعیت این کشور را دارد، خواست تا وی برای مداوا به آنجا منتقل شود.

وکیل عبدالهادی خواجه در سوم آوریل عکسی از او منتشر کرد

اما دیوان عالی قضایی در ۸ آوریل این درخواست را رد کرد و گفت قانون مانع از انتقال محکومان و مجرمان به کشورهای خارجی است.

او در ۱۷ آوریل به خانواده‌اش گفت که سرم‌های غذایی را قطع کرده است و چیزی به جز آب قبول نمی‌کند.

دو روز بعد هم در آستانه مسابقات فرمول یک بحرین که توجه جهانی را به این کشور جلب کرده بود، آقای خواجه گفت دیگر حاضر به نوشیدن آب هم نیست و می‌خواهد وصیتنامه‎‌اش را بنویسد.

به گفته دخترش او گفته است که اگر موفق به دیدن وکیلش نشود سه مطلب هست که می‌خواهد همه از آن مطلع باشند.

"نخست این که او در راه خود قاطع است. دوم این که او نمی‌خواهد هیچ شخص دیگری به سوی مرگی این چنینی برود. و سوم این که اگر مُرد، مردم مسیر مقاومت مسالمت‌آمیز را ادامه دهند".

او گفته است که نمی‌خواهد کسی را به خاطرش بیازارند.

سه روز بعد دیوان عالی بحرین برای دومین بار رسیدگی به فرجام‌خواهی او را بدون دلیلی مشخص به تعویق انداخت.
